I know it’s been a while my dears and my phone is filled with pictures of things I should be posting here. So we’ll start from the most recent and work our way back ok. T’was hubby’s birthday this weekend and Tarte aux fraises was a yummyily invited guest. Hubby requested it for his day, so I got joyfully baking. My pastry godfather (Michele Roux Snr), lent his precious hand in this very classic French recipe for Strawberry tart in his book, Pastry. What’s that sad little tart on the side? I hear you ask. Well, it ain’t sad at all, it’s a dairy-free version of the original, filled with dairy-free soya custard and strawberries! I wasn’t gonna miss out on this baby now, was I? ;-). Tomorrow, a special carrot cake is making an appearance, so stay tuned. Goodevening all. ❤
