This morning I wanted a drink or perhaps a smoothie to start my day. No fuss, no mess and red in colour. I am about to be renewed again as my moon cycle starts so I wanted to usher in my body to this space with some red hot loving.
Well I thought I was going to be up and ready to go this morning but it didn’t really work out that way. My eyes were behind my head this morning and I just couldn’t get out of bed. My stomach is starting to cramp up and I was in bed thinking of how this smoothie was going to be. Well unfortunately, no amount of thinking was gonna actually make it for me and bring it bed….at least I can say I tried J. So I managed to get up (it’s almost 12pm now) and whizz up some ‘juicy red brew’. Not too sweet, has a little bite to it, red, smooth and I am totally satisfied right now. Here it is guys and as usual please let me know in the comments if you try it or are going to try it or have any concerns whatsoever ok.
For 1 glass:
- 95 g red fruit mixture (I used frozen)
- 70 g cooked beetroot (cubed)
- 100g of soy yogurt (1 pot)
- ½ cup of rice milk
- 1 Tbsp Agave syrup
Whizz ‘em all together in your blender, pour into a posh glass (not very important :-D), sit back and enjoy your brew.
Note: You can substitute Agave for stevia, honey, maple or rice syrup if you wish.
